SKI ARLBERG

Cross country skiing

Snow-covered forest trails and extensive panoramic routes passing great mountain ranges and peaceful small villages characterise the cross-country skiing paradise of the nature park region Tiroler Lechtal! Our aim is to experience nature in white!

New snow means a lot of work for our hardworking drivers, because now it’s time to use the most modern snow machines for preparing a dense network of trails for the numerous cross-country skiers.
The cross country trails strech along
190 kilometres
in the nature park region and thus reveal the full
splendour of winter magic in the Tyrolian Lechtal.

Skiing

Lechtal meets Arlberg
Direct access to the Ski Arlberg lifts from Lech and Zürs via Warth to Schröcken, as well as St. Anton and Stuben/Rauz is now possible. Because with the 2016/2017 winter season, the circle has been closed.

The connecting cableway “Flexenbahn” now makes the Ski Arlberg to the largest interconnected skiing area of Austria! This makes skiing on the Arlberg even more versatile, comfortable and spectacular.

Winter hiking

Winter and snowshoe hikers as well as ski tourers will now find ideal conditions for hikes in the beautiful natural landscape of the region. The Lech is always at the centre of your excursions and ensures relaxing winter days far away from the hectic ski tourism.

On 34 winter routes you hike around 132 kilometres, which will take you to the most beautiful destinations in the nature park region and invite you to discover the wild river and the majestic mountains. Cultural and natural treasures as well as impressive waterside landscapes of Europe’s last wild river await you to get to know on diverse winter walks.
